Food Counter Attendant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Overnight Food Counter Attendant to join our dynamic food service team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing food items, and maintaining a clean and organized counter area during overnight shifts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, excellent time management skills, and experience in food handling and cashiering. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring guests receive prompt and friendly service.

Responsibilities
• Prepare and assemble food items according to established recipes and safety standards
• Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and cash handling
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service, taking orders and answering questions
• Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS systems
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the food counter area in compliance with food safety regulations
• Restock supplies and ensure the counter is well-organized at all times
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Follow all food safety protocols, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures
• Assist with general kitchen duties as needed during overnight hours

Skills
• Proven experience in food service, cashiering, or restaurant environments
• Strong knowledge of POS systems, particularly Micros POS, and cash handling procedures
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry
• Experience with food preparation and kitchen operations is preferred
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and service excellence
Pay: From $16.75 per hour
