Responsibilities
• Prepare and cook menu items with precision, following established recipes and presentation standards.
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and assembling ingredients to streamline kitchen workflow.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work stations, including proper food handling and storage practices to ensure safety and quality.
• Support the team during service hours by efficiently plating dishes and managing multiple orders simultaneously.
• Follow all food safety regulations and health guidelines to create a safe environment for staff and guests alike.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels, rotating supplies, and reporting shortages or issues promptly.

Qualifications
• Prior experience in breakfast environment is an asset.
• Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key!
• Knowledge of food handling procedures, safety standards, and basic cooking techniques.
• Strong attention to detail when preparing meals to ensure consistency and quality.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Good communication skills for effective teamwork within the kitchen environment.
• A genuine interest in food preparation, meal presentation, and continuous skill development.
