Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Tandoor Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. Duties
• Prepare and cook a variety of tandoor-based dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Operate the tandoor oven safely and efficiently, managing temperature controls and cooking times.
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as marinating, seasoning, and assembling ingredients for various menu items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices.
• Support food service by ensuring timely meal preparation and presentation during busy hours.
• Follow all food safety regulations to ensure hygiene standards are upheld at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and excellent guest service.
Requirements
• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings, particularly with tandoor or similar oven techniques preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling safety practices and industry standards related to meal preparation.
• Strong understanding of food service operations within a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and guest interactions when needed.
• Enthusiasm for learning new culinary skills and techniques related to Indian or other cuisines involving tandoor cooking.
• Prior experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is highly desirable.
