Delivery Driver

Responsibilities
• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including trucks and vans, to transport freight to various locations.
• Load and unload cargo using equipment like forklifts or other heavy machinery when necessary.
• Plan efficient delivery routes to meet deadlines and optimize travel time.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic automotive repairs or maintenance as needed.
• Ensure all freight is secured properly during transit to prevent damage or accidents.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams.
• Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure safe driving practices at all times.

Requirements
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or equivalent for operating large vehicles.
• Experience with forklift operation and handling freight is preferred.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and basic automotive repair skills.
• Ability to lift heavy loads and work in physically demanding environments.
• Strong navigation skills and familiarity with route planning tools.
• Good communication skills for coordinating deliveries and reporting issues.
• A safety-conscious mindset with attention to detail in vehicle maintenance and freight handling.
