Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a Cleaner to join our team. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in various facilities. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including hallways, lobbies, and break rooms
- Follow established procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment
Skills:
- Strong time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
- Ability to operate power tools and hand tools for cleaning purposes
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and customers
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for moving furniture or equipment
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning preferred
- Customer service skills to address any concerns or requests from customers
