Flourist is a popular Mill + Bakery located in East Vancouver. We are a community hub centred around the ancient practice of flour milling. We bake using freshly milled flour exclusively using organically grown, Canadian grains.

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Baker with mixing experience to join our team in baking our sourdough bread and pastries.

Duties
- Mix and prepare dough for various baked goods, such as bread and pastries
- Bake products according to recipes and established baking procedures
- Monitor oven temperatures and adjust settings as needed
- Ensure proper food handling and storage practices to maintain freshness and prevent contamination
- Clean and maintain baking equipment and work area

Experience
- Previous experience as a Baker or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Skills
- Excellent baking skills with the ability to produce high-quality products consistently
- Proficient in using kitchen equipment such as mixers and ovens
- Knowledge of sourdough bread and the process
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and adapt them as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00-$22.00 per hour
