Job description
We are looking to hire a Journeyman/ red seal Carpenter to join our team.
The projects we work on are very diverse and include:
• Residential renovations
• New home construction
• Structural upgrades
• Exterior renovations
• Interior renovations
Types of Carpentry work varies and can include but is not limited to:
• Framing
• Landscape Carpentry
• Kitchen and Bathroom carpentry
• Drywall and ceiling repair and installation
• Flooring and baseboard installation
• Basic Finishing Carpentry
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:
1. Have a Red Seal certification or equivalent in time and experience
2. Have a minimum 5 years? experience in residential construction
3. Sound knowledge of construction and building techniques in B.C.
4. Have the ability to read and interpret contract drawings and specifications
5. Be a hard-working, organized, team player
6. Be a proactive problem-solver that can manage difficult situations with positive results
7. Demonstrate competence in the areas of safety, and project execution
8. Is adaptable to change and variety of work
9. Have a reliable vehicle for transportation
10. Be willing and able to receive a government criminal record clearance
11. Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
