- $20.00/hr - $21.53/hr Reports to: Site Supervisor/ Client Service Manager Key Responsibilities: Access Control: Monitor and control access to the facility, ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors enter.</p><p>Verify identification and issue temporary passes as needed.</p><p>Patrol Duties: Conduct regular patrols of the premises, to detect and deter any suspicious activity or potential security threats.</p><p>Surveillance Monitoring: Operate and monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras and alarm systems, to identify and respond to any security breaches.</p><p>Incident Response: Respond promptly to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies, taking appropriate action to resolve the situation and minimize risk.</p><p>This includes coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as required.</p><p>Report Writing: Prepare detailed and accurate incident reports, daily logs, and other security documentation as needed.</p><p>Maintain clear communication with supervisors and other security personnel.</p><p>Customer Service: Provide assistance and guidance to visitors and employees, ensuring a positive experience while maintaining security standards.</p><p>QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Must possess a valid BC Security Workers License 
- Or be willing to obtain it.</p><p>Must be able to obtain a Reliability Clearance and be minimum 19 years of age.</p><p>Strong observational skills and attention to detail.</p><p>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</p><p>Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.</p><p>Proficiency in using security technology (e.g., CCTV, access control systems).</p><p>Physical fitness and ability to perform duties requiring standing, walking, and patrolling for extended periods.</p><p>Working Conditions: Shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays, may be required.</p><p>Must be able to work in various weather conditions if patrols involve outdoor areas.</p><p>The position requires standing or walking for extended periods.</p><p>BENEFITS AND PERKS RRSP contributions by employer Group-life Insurance &
