Respond to students in crisis situations, offering assessment, intervention, and referrals as appropriate. Promote student wellness, resilience, and self-advocacy through individual counselling, workshops, and educational programming on topics such as stress management, exam anxiety, and time management. Serve as a resource for students, faculty, and staff by providing consultation, advocacy, and referrals to community agencies and professionals. Maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external partners, participate in professional development activities, contribute to college committees, and support student engagement initiatives, orientations, graduations, open houses, and other campus events. Travel between campuses and occasional evening or weekend work may be required</span></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><strong><span style="font-size: 12.0pt;">Qualifications:</span></strong> <span style="font-size: 12.0pt; color: #1d2129;">A Master's degree in Counselling, Psychology, Clinical Social Work, or a related field from an accredited post-secondary institution is required, including completion of a graduate-level supervised counselling practicum. The successful candidate will have a minimum of three to five years of related counselling experience, including at least one year of experience supporting students in a secondary or post-secondary educational environment.
