Room Attendant

Prestige Oceanview Hotel in Prince Rupert, BC is looking for full-time and part-time Room Attendants (also known as Housekeepers).

Duties & Responsibilities
• Reports to work in required uniform and in adherence with Prestige policy
• Greets guests with a smile and in a warm and courteous manner
• Responds to guest requests promptly
• Provides courteous guest service
• Performs cleaning procedures daily in guest rooms and public areas according to Prestige standards
• Works as a team player
• Becomes familiar with various room types
• Handles lost and found items
• Maintains security measures
• Restocks housekeeping carts daily with supplies
• Maintains equipment
• Observes and reports any repairs needed
• Performs other duties as required or assigned by the Supervisor or General Manager

What does an ideal candidate look like?
• Must like to have fun at work!
• A positive team player attitude and a strong willingness to learn
• Must have availability on weekends and holidays
• Prior housekeeping experience is an asset but NOT?required
• Neat and tidy appearance as this position deals with the public
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
Pay: $20.00 per hour
