Renovation Carpenter

Kildare Renovations is seeking an experienced Renovation Carpenter to join our renovation team in St. John's, NL. The successful candidate must have no less than 5 years of residential construction and renovation experience, with the ability to complete framing, repairs, drywall, and detailed finishing work while maintaining high-quality standards.
Duties:
• Complete residential carpentry work including framing, repairs, renovations, and finishing.
• Install interior features including doors, trim, baseboards, casing, mouldings, and stair components.
• Perform drywall installation, repairs, and finishing as required.
• Read and interpret drawings, plans, and site measurements.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and other building materials.
• Complete framing tasks including walls, floors, and structural repairs.
• Install windows, doors, hardware, and other interior components.
• Complete finish carpentry with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work closely with Project Leads and team members to complete projects on schedule.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Skills & Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of residential construction or renovation experience.
• Strong experience in both rough and finish carpentry.
• Experience with framing, drywall, trim work, and interior finishing.
• Ability to read drawings and take accurate measurements.
• Proficient in the safe use of carpentry tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Positive work references required.
• Must pass a background check.
• English required.
