The Opportunity
This is a critical role in supporting the Site Superintendent to ensure successful project execution. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and adaptability. You will be responsible for overseeing and executing carpentry work on construction projects as assigned. This role involves assisting the Site Superintendent with work as assigned and leading a team of Trade Partners and laborers, ensuring quality craftsmanship, maintaining safety standards, and keeping project site work on schedule, within budget, and of the highest quality standards. You will work closely with Site Superintendents, Project Managers, Pretium Executive Leadership, and Trade Partners to coordinate tasks and problem-solve on-site challenges.
• We are hiring experienced Level 1-4 Carpenters to assist with carpentry tasks on multi-family residential construction sites. This role is ideal for skilled tradespeople who take pride in quality workmanship and those looking for build a long-term career with the opportunity to advance.

Carpentry & Construction Execution

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to
• Lead carpentry tasks as directed by the Site Superintendent.
• Coordinate with other trades and site supervisors to meet project timelines.T
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy in construction.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Quality Control & Safety Compliance
• Inspect work to ensure it meets company standards, building codes, and client expectations.
• Enforce safety protocols and compliance with Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
• Conduct site hazard assessments and implement corrective measures as needed.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are used and maintained properly.

Qualifications & Experience
• Desire to apprentice and achieve a Journeyman Carpenter Certification.
• Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on carpentry experience.
• General understanding of construction techniques, materials, and building codes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of workplace safety and ability to enforce regulations.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
