About the Role
We are seeking a hardworking and dependable

Apprentice Carpenter
to join our commercial construction team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills while working on a variety of commercial projects, including office buildings, retail spaces, schools, healthcare facilities, and industrial sites.
Under the supervision of experienced Journeyperson Carpenters, you will gain hands-on experience in all aspects of commercial carpentry while progressing through your apprenticeship.
We are looking for someone who is already enrolled in the apprenticeship or someone willing to enroll in the apprenticeship program.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist carpenters with commercial construction and renovation projects
• Read and interpret basic construction drawings and site plans
• Measure, cut, and install wood, steel stud, and other building materials
• Assist with framing, drywall systems, suspended ceilings, doors, hardware, and finish carpentry
• Safely operate hand and power tools, lifts, and other construction equipment
• Load, unload, and organize construction materials and tools
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
• Follow all company safety standards and site-specific safety requirements
• Work collaboratively with other trades and site personnel
Qualifications
• Registered Apprentice Carpenter or willingness to enroll in an apprenticeship program
• Previous commercial construction experience is considered an asset
• Familiarity with hand and power tools
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
• Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift up to 50 lbs
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Fall Protection, WHMIS, and First Aid certifications are assets but not required.

Schedule
• Monday to Friday
• 40+ hours per week
• Occasional travel may be required
