Welder / Fitter (TIG)
M.P. Welding & Fabrication is currently seeking an experienced Welder / Fitter (TIG) to join our growing team. We are looking for a dependable, motivated individual who takes pride in quality workmanship, values safety, and enjoys working in a heavy industrial environment.

Compensation
$30.00?$35.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Hours of Work
• Monday to Thursday: 9-hour shifts
• Friday: 4-hour shift
• Overtime opportunities available
• Must be willing to work extended hours for scheduled shutdowns, emergency breakdowns, and occasional call-in support.
Responsibilities
• Perform TIG welding on light-gauge materials to a high standard of quality.
• Read and accurately interpret blueprints, drawings, and fabrication specifications.
• Fit and assemble custom fabricated products with precision and attention to detail.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Adapt to changing priorities and work environments.
• Work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of welding experience (TIG welding experience required).
• Proven ability to TIG weld light-gauge materials.
• Strong fitting and fabrication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings with minimal supervision.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety.
• Valid Ontario Driver's Licence.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment
This position is based in a heavy industrial plant environment and requires adherence to all company safety policies.
Applicants must be able to:
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Work in confined spaces and at elevated heights when required.
• Climb stairs, ladders, and scaffolding.
• Lift, carry, push, pull, bend, crouch, and kneel throughout the workday.
• Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators and standard plant safety equipment.
• Work safely in environments with industrial noise, temperature fluctuations, and other plant conditions.
