Retail Store Supervisor

<div><strong>Reports To:</strong></div><div>Plant Manager</div><div><br></div><div><strong>Overall Objective:</strong></div><ul><li>Ensure that production targets are met.</li><li>Improve the efficiency, quality, and capacity of the Campbell Heights Warehouse.</li><li>Deliver parts that meet or exceed Hansen's primary quality objectives (99% acceptance, 97% on-time delivery).</li><li>Contribute to the profitability and growth of the Campbell Heights Warehouse.</li><li>Assist Hansen Industries Ltd. in achieving secondary quality objectives (85% satisfaction rating, improved internal non-conformance identification).</li></ul><div><br></div><div><strong>Skills Required:</strong></div><ul><li>Proven supervisory skills.</li><li>Experience with CNC programming and CAD.</li><li>Proficiency in computer applications and lean manufacturing.</li><li>Strong sheet metal and assembly experience with problem-solving skills.</li><li>Knowledge of WorkSafe and safety regulations.</li><li>Ability to cover any shop tasks when needed including but not limited to shear, forming, punch, assembly, shipping, receiving, inventory, safety.</li></ul><div><br></div><div><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></div><div><strong>Production and Efficiency:</strong></div><ul><li>Meet customer due dates, eliminate late jobs, and improve scheduling efficiency.</li><li>Lead the team in increasing overall efficiency at individual workstations and across the shop.</li><li>Continuously improve processes, quality, and capacity through documentation and analysis.</li><li>Work closely with Purchasing to optimize inventory.</li></ul><div><br></div><div><strong>Employee Management and Development:</strong></div><ul><li>Recruit, train, motivate, and develop employees while maintaining a training matrix with HR.</li><li>Measure employee development and provide leadership to achieve high standards of quality, productivity, and safety.</li><li>Foster a culture of continuous improvement through team involvement, training, and development programs.</li><li>Performance reviews on all direct reports in Campbell Heights Warehouse.</li><li>Performance feedback to Overlander/Hansen Managers who have direct reports in Campbell Heights Warehouse.</li></ul><div><br></div><div><strong>Leadership and Development:</strong></div><ul><li>Recruitment, hiring and training new shop employees.</li></ul><div><br></div><div><strong>Safety and Maintenance:</strong></div><ul><li>Ensure the safety of all shop employees by adhering to WorkSafe and company safety procedures working with Overlanders Safety Associate.</li><li>Monitor and schedule regular maintenance of all equipment.</li><li>Maintain a clean and orderly shop environment.</li></ul><div><br></div><div><strong>Quality Control:</strong></div><ul><li>Work with Quality Manager and Quality Technician to maintain high product quality standards and ensure customer satisfaction.</li><li>Work with schedulers to ensure jobs are delivered on time and meet or exceed customer expectations.</li></ul><div><br></div><div><strong>Coordination and Meetings:</strong></div><ul><li>Coordinate with the Plant Manager on material and tool acquisitions and attend production and management meetings as required.</li><li>Lead daily huddles and other necessary meetings to ensure smooth operations.</li></ul><div><br></div><div><strong>Process and System Improvements:</strong></div><ul><li>Implement and drive improvements in production processes, methods, and systems.</li><li>Assist in the acquisition of new equipment and software to improve shop capabilities.</li><li>Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and lean procedures across all shop functions.</li></ul><div><br></div><br><br><ul></ul>
