Construction Labourer

We are a growing utility contractor with multiple projects across the Ottawa area and are currently looking for

experienced construction labourers
to join our team.
This role is best suited for individuals with a solid background in construction (civil, utility, concrete, asphalt, or similar) who are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can contribute to a productive crew.
We offer full-time, competitive wages ($28?$36/hour based on experience), group benefits, and opportunities for advancement.

Key Responsibilities
• Hand digging and trench preparation
• Assisting with installation of underground piping and conduits
• Pulling and handling wire and materials
• Concrete forming and pouring
• Asphalt placement and surface restoration
• Placing precast structures
• General labour and support to crews on site

Requirements
• Minimum 2+ years of construction labour experience (civil, utility, concrete, asphalt, etc.)
• Ability to work efficiently with limited supervision
• Physically fit and capable of heavy manual labour
• Comfortable working long hours in all weather conditions
• Experience using hand tools and power tools safely
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Assets
• Experience working around underground utilities
• WHMIS and Working at Heights certifications
