Cashier, Customer Service

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Cashier/Customer Service representative to join our retail team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to customers, managing transactions efficiently, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be organized, and have a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

Duties
• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases
• Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and credit transactions
• Provide product information and demonstrations when needed
• Manage customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
• Maintain organized merchandising displays to enhance product visibility
• Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked
• Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment as required
• Uphold company policies on cash handling and security

Experience
• Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
• Strong communication skills in English
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for accurate cash handling
• Experience with merchandising is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent phone etiquette and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to upsell products and provide exceptional customer service to foster repeat business
Pay: $16.75 per hour
