Line Cook

Job Summary
• Seasons and cooks food according to recipes and food safety standards.
• Ensures freshness of food and ingredients by checking their quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock.
• Inspects and cleans food preparation and serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices.
• Observes and test foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently.
• Washes, peels, cuts, and seeds fruits and vegetables to prepare them for consumption.
• Cleans and maintains kitchen work areas, restaurant equipment, and utensils.
• Washes dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans by hand or using dishwashers.
• Performs other related duties as needed.

Job Qualifications
• Cooking Experience: 1 year or more(preferred)
• Food Safety/Handler Certification (NS)

Pay: From $16.75 per hour
