Bookkeeper

Responsibilities
• Manage and record all financial transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Excel and Word
• Perform credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy across bank statements and internal records
• Handle accounts payable efficiently and accurately
• Assist with overflow of Invoicing, recording payments and tracking outstanding balances.
• Assist with escalated collections on overdue accounts and support payment resolution
• HST/GST filings: ensuring tax is recorded correctly and assisting with periodic remittances.
• Assist with month-end
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements
• Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Excel and Word is essential
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, including accounts payable/receivable and account reconciliation
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to analyze financial data accurately
• Familiarity with bank reconciliation procedures and account analysis techniques
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities efficiently
• 3+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles is required
