Room Attendant

Position Summary
The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and guest service in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. This role plays a key part in delivering a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for all hotel guests.

Key Responsibilities
• Clean and service assigned guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to hotel standards.
• Change bed linens and replace used towels and amenities.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize all required areas.
• Replenish guest room supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and towels.
• Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or lost & found items to the supervisor promptly.
• Follow proper procedures for key control and security.
• Ensure carts and storage areas are clean and well-stocked.
• Maintain a friendly, courteous, and professional attitude with guests and colleagues.
• Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation policies and procedures.

Qualifications
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in a hotel or similar environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible with working hours, including weekends and holidays.

Working Conditions
• May involve standing or walking for long periods.
• Exposure to cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Fast-paced environment; may involve repetitive tasks.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
