Welder

Super Save Group is looking to hire a full-time welder to join our team. This position does not require a welding certification, but prior experience is required.
This position is 100% in our weld shop, no travel is required.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications.
• Repair worn or damaged parts of our company bins and construction fencing.
• Testing the weld for cracks, defects, or porosity.
• Cleaning and maintaining welding equipment.
• Liaising with teams and supervisors to get equipment and material back in service in time to meet company needs.
• Promptly report any incidents and complete all necessary documentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Adhere to company Health and Safety Program standards and follow all safe operating practices.

What you bring
• At least 6+ months of MIG welding experience is required.
• Necessary skills to prepare surfaces by cleaning, grinding, and cutting as needed.
• Physically fit and able to safely lift 50-70 lbs. throughout the day.
• Work well in a team setting and as an individual.
• Ability to follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Good ability to communicate in English.
