Child Care Worker Assistant

The Saskatchewan Foster Families Association (SFFA) is committed to supporting and strengthening foster families, helping to create nurturing environments and brighter futures for children and youth in care across Saskatchewan. We are currently seeking a compassionate and dependable Part-Time Childcare Worker to provide valuable support to a foster family in Prince Albert, SK. This dynamic role involves a variety of responsibilities, including childcare, light housekeeping, and providing transportation for family visits, appointments, or community outings. The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility and adaptability while ensuring the safety, well-being, and developmental needs of the children are met. We are looking for an individual who is confident, self-motivated, and reliable, with a strong commitment to professionalism and attention to detail. Position Details
*Job Type: Community Based 1-1 Support Schedule: 2 days a week: Flexible daytime shifts until September, switch to evening/weekend shifts in September *

Qualifications
•
• ECE or Youth Care Worker certification is considered an asset but is not required* Experience in childcare or early childhood development is preferred, particularly supporting children with diverse needs and challenges

Commitment to maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries

Effective verbal and written communication skills
