Line Cook

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Authentic Indian, Hakka Chinese and Nepali food preparation, cooking, and food safety, with experience working in fast-paced restaurant environments. Responsibilities
• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
• Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
• Ensure all food is cooked safely and handled in accordance with food safety regulations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
• Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination and ensure freshness
• Support the team during busy service periods by efficiently managing multiple orders
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including proper sanitation practices
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of quality dishes

Skills
• Proven experience in food service, Indian restaurant, or Hakka Chinese kitchen environments with a focus on meal preparation and cooking
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
• Strong understanding of food industry best practices for cleanliness and sanitation
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Serving experience is a plus, demonstrating ability to interact professionally with guests when necessary
• Passion for culinary arts with a keen eye for detail in food presentation and quality assurance
Pay: $17.00-$27.31 per hour
