Bookkeeper

Job Summary
Our growing ecommerce business delivers quality products to retailers and restaurants, focusing on exceptional customer service. We are seeking a Bookkeeper with strong QuickBooks expertise. This is a critical requirement as proficiency in QuickBooks is essential for performing tasks including order management, customer service and data entry.
\*\*Primarily remote with occasional in person visits.

Role Description
• Full cycle bookkeeper with on-line QuickBooks
• Payroll, Payroll tax, WSIB, HST payments
• Good understanding of US exchange rates converted to the Canadian dollar
• Process payments
• Create and send purchase orders to vendors
• Provide excellent customer service by email and phone
• Reconcile bank, credit card and Paypal and similar statements
• Perform other administrative and supportive tasks
• Entering orders in the system

Qualifications
• Proficient in on-line QuickBooks specifically in A/P, A/R and general accounting, with 5+ years experience
• 4+ years experience in Microsoft Office
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Effective phone and customer service and problem solving abilities
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent English written and spoken skills
• Perform administrated tasks as needed
• Attention to detail and accuracy with ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Software used: On-line QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, Ship Station
• General knowledge of office apps
• Emailing with Outlook

Experience:
• QuickBooks: 5 years (required)
• Microsoft Office: 2 years (preferred)
