Yard Person Saltcoats, SKPenn Truss Manufacturing Inc. (An AEP Company), located in Saltcoats, SK, provides professional design services, supplies engineered wood products, and manufactures roof and floor trusses to contractors, builders, and homeowners. We are currently looking for a full-time, permanent Yard Person to support our operations. Reporting to the Shipping Manager, our ideal candidate will be flexible, adaptable, detail-oriented, and motivated, with a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and providing a high level of internal customer service.The ideal candidate will be reliable, hardworking, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced team environment while supporting the day-to-day operations of our yard and production facility.What Penn Truss offers you! On-the-Job Training Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Focused EnvironmentDuties include, but are not limited to: Banding trusses to prepare products for safe shipment Loading and unloading materials using forklifts and other equipment Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe yard Cutting engineered wood products to required specifications Assisting with shipping, receiving, and inventory organization Supporting production and yard operations as requiredQualifications and Experience: Valid forklift certification is considered an asset Valid driver's licence is considered an asset Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs Experience with power tools is considered an asset Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy Fluent in English (verbal and written communication)
