You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment.<br><br><b><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></b></p><ul><li>Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition</li><li>Perform regular cleaning duties such as mopping floors and taking out garbage.</li><li>Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.</li><li>Operate auto scrubbing machines to clean floors.</li><li>Make sure janitor room is cleaned and ready for regular inspections.</li><li>Clean, disinfect and polish bathroom fixtures and appliances.</li><li>Clean and disinfect public areas such as changing rooms, restroom, offices and elevators.</li><li>Disinfect operating rooms and high touch areas.</li><li>Pickup debris and empty trash containers.</li><li>Wash windows, walls and ceilings.</li><li>Report and store lost & found items.</li><li>May provide basic information on facilities.</li><li>Clean the dust from counters.</li><li>Cleanup any construction debris i.e. safe to interact with.</li></ul><p> <b><strong>Qualifications:</strong></b></p><ul><li>Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or other related fields</li><li>Ability to handle physical workload</li><li>Strong attention to detail</li><li>Strong organizational skills</li></ul></div>Company Description<div>Himalyan Cleaning Services is a locally owned cleaning company based in Sydney, Nova Scotia.
