JOB DESCRIPTIONMidland Transport is currently looking for a reliable and safety?focused Class 1 P&D Tractor Driver to join our team in Moncton Refrigerated DC and support our local pick?up and delivery operations. In this role, you will operate a tractor?trailer to complete scheduled local routes, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional service to our customers.Schedule: Friday-Sunday, 12-hour night shifts (2000 -0800)What We Offer:? Operate a Class 1 tractor-trailer safely to complete local pickups and deliveries.? Perform daily route assignments, ensuring pickups and deliveries are completed on time.? Complete pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections in accordance with legal and company requirements.? Move trailers safely and efficiently within and between the distribution center (DC) and yard.? Conduct regular yard checks, including verifying all onsite equipment, fuel levels, reefer settings, and trailer box temperatures.? Drive, operate equipment, and perform all duties in compliance with safety regulations, traffic laws, and company policies.QUALIFICATIONS? Minimum of 2 years of safe tractor-trailer driving experience? Valid Class 1 driver's license? Clean driver's abstract and criminal record check? Strong written and verbal communication skills? Ability to safely lift, move, and handle freight as required? Strong customer service and interpersonal skills? Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing workloads? Customer service-oriented mindset? Positive and enthusiastic attitude, with a commitment to providing superior quality service?
