Cake Decorator

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Cake Decorator to join our bakery team for weekends . The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating visually stunning cakes and desserts, ensuring each product meets high standards of quality and presentation. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with team members, and providing excellent customer service to our clients. Prior experience in cake decorating and food handling is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety practices.

Responsibilities
• Decorate cakes and desserts according to customer specifications and company standards
• Prepare ingredients and assemble cakes using various techniques such as piping, fondant work, and icing application
• Ensure all baked goods are visually appealing, consistent, and meet quality standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the decorating station and kitchen area
• Handle food safely by following proper hygiene procedures and food safety regulations
• Package finished products carefully for delivery or customer pickup
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including baking and ingredient measurement
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of orders and high customer satisfaction

Skills
• Proven experience in cake decorating, pastry arts, or related culinary fields
• Strong knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices
• Excellent attention to detail and artistic skills for cake design and decoration
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment
• Good communication skills to understand customer requests and collaborate with team members
• Experience in restaurant or food industry settings is a plus
• Basic cooking, baking, and food preparation skills are desirable
• Familiarity with packaging techniques for baked goods
• Customer service orientation to ensure positive interactions with clients
